Lesson Activities
Students should first complete the interactive diagrams and print them ready for discussion.
They should then complete the group activities listed beneath the diagram
GROUP TASKS
Get into groups of 3.
There are three roles to carry out in this activity interviewer, interviewee, recorder
1. Interviewers interview the interviewees for five minutes about their educational achievements and career ambitions. Interviewers should try and use as many of the skills in the diagram whilst they interviewer. The recorder should summarise what was said and record examples of interpersonal interaction skills being used. You will be told when 5 minutes are up at which point you should change roles.
When everyone has had a go read through your feedback from your recorder and discuss it as a group.
