Studies show that people and people from some minorities suffer worse health than the national average despite the Equal Opportunities legislation and the best efforts of health and social care practitioners.
The statistics suggest:
1. class people have a higher mortality rate than average
2. Working class people suffer more from medical conditions such as heart disease, strokes and cancers
3. Women are more likely to suffer health problems than men
4 .Working class people are more likely to die before than middle class people
5. People in the north of England are healthy than people in the south

8. Afro Caribbean people have higher incidence of , HIV/AIDs and schizophrenia
